IGF-1 LR3
IGF-1 LR3 is a modified form of insulin-like growth factor 1 studied for its interaction with IGF-1 receptors and its reduced binding to IGF-binding proteins. Research on this molecule has primarily used laboratory and animal models. DeSoto Peptides is developing batch-specific documentation to support verification of its research materials.

HOW IGF-1 LR3 IS STUDIED
IGF-1 LR3 is a modified version of IGF-1. Researchers use it to study IGF-1 receptor signaling and how reduced binding to IGF-binding proteins changes its activity in laboratory models.
Interacts with a receptor involved in cell growth signaling.
Binds less strongly to proteins that normally carry and regulate
Used in laboratory studies of how cells respond to signals.
WHAT THE RESEARCH SHOWS
IGF-1 LR3 research has mainly used cultured cells and animals. In a cell study, it activated IGF-1 receptors at lower concentrations than native IGF-1. That shows activity in the laboratory; it does not establish a benefit in people.
In a seven-day guinea pig study, IGF-1 LR3 increased the relative weight of several organs, but overall body growth did not increase. That distinction should stay visible in the research cards.
